Crafting arrives

Version 3 introduced the Crafting Bench. The official log says players can combine blocks and cash to create new items, with more recipes planned.

New craftables and block

• Sign — Legendary; players can write anything on it.
• Oak Door — Legendary; it opens, and two can be placed side by side as double doors.
• Kill Part — Legendary; touching it causes death.
• Oak Plank — Rare; the published recipe makes two from one Oak Log.
• Oak Stick — Rare; no exact recipe is shown in this log.
• Lava Rock — the first Legendary block, with a burning effect.

Backpack and protection

Backpack tabs added the filters All, ASMR, Block, Tools, and Others. Respawn protection added a three-second shield to prevent spawn-trap deaths. Balance, quality-of-life, and bug fixes were also recorded.

Player-facing impact

Crafting changed the role of collected materials and cash: the log presented them as inputs that could become purpose-built tower pieces. The Sign, opening Door, lethal Kill Part, and Lava Rock effect added interactive or communicative possibilities beyond stacking passive shapes. Oak Plank and Oak Stick also established a material family, although only one complete conversion is visible in this evidence.

Backpack tabs reduced the need to search one undivided inventory, while the three-second respawn shield addressed the specific problem of repeated spawn-trap deaths. Together, these changes affected both building preparation and recovery after failure. They do not, however, establish current tab names, protection timing after later balance changes, or whether every named craftable remains obtainable.

Evidence and interpretation

The official frame supports the Crafting Bench concept, the five craftable names and rarities, the Lava Rock description, the five Backpack filters, and the announced three-second shield. It explicitly shows the Oak Plank output as two planks from one Oak Log. That recipe can be repeated here because both input and output quantities are visible.

The same evidentiary rule prevents this page from supplying recipes for Sign, Oak Door, Kill Part, or Oak Stick. “Combine blocks and cash” describes the system generally, not a license to guess a hidden ingredient list. The unspecified balance and bug fixes likewise remain unspecified.
