Trading and Trade Plaza

Version 5 officially opened item trading between players on the same server. Players could send requests from the new Trade button, use in-trade chat, and pass through a 3-2-1 lock intended to reduce scams. Trade requests could be set to On, Friends, or Off in Settings.

The new Trade Plaza was reached through a portal. Its two islands, market, and campfires supported trading and social play. Players could hold a Held Sign to show what they were trading and choose a server through the Servers list at the top right.

Gems, items, and minigames

First, second, and third place in minigames all paid Gems, but the log did not state exact payout quantities. Gems could be spent at the Gem Shop near the Gems NPC.

The new items were Held Sign (40 Gems), Mailbox (200 Gems), Glazed Butter (100 Gems), Boba Needoh (75 Gems), craftable Boba, Keycap Crate (20 Gems), and Timer Pack (200 Gems). The Timer Pack supplied Start and Finish flags for player-built races.

The Play button opened to everyone for queueing at any time. Knockout joined Spleef, and both paid Gems.

Codes

The official log instructs players to redeem codes in the Store or through the Codes button at the top right. It also directs players to the game's Discord for new codes. It does not name a code, reward, success message, or required playtime.
